We will be happy to invite you to participate in the training camp in collaboration with the sailing club SailFirst.com, followed by with the “March Breeze regatta”.
We have updated and developed our program, taking into account all the advantages and disadvantages of the previous camp.
– Place: Limassol (Cyprus), yacht club St.Raphael.
Yacht: J80 (gennaker), crew 5 pax.
Dates: 24/03/2017 – 25/03/201
Crew Price (4-5 pax): €100 Training Fee + €150 Club Fee for J80 boat
A training camp is a format in which onshore workshops and debriefing are combined with practical exercises in the water.
For this training we plan the following training topics:
General teamwork principles:
– Pre-start maneuvering
– Maneuvering tactics
– Manoeuvring teamwork
– Upper-mark approach
– Lipping the upper mark
– Teamwork in full courses
We do recommend this event to everyone who is planning to participate in regattas of any level.

10:00 – meeting at St.Raphael yacht club, boat review, preparation for sea.
Introductive instructions.
11:00 – going to sea, first manoeuvres, working off tacking & gybe, setting up and off the gennaker
17:00 – debriefing, correction of errors
-25 March (Sat)
10:00 – meeting at the yacht club
11:00 – going to sea
12:00 – training starts, pre-start manoeuvring, marks lipping work out, training races.
17:00 – debriefing, viewing the footage, correction of errors
